First of all, it is so lovely to have you back here! Hope the operation went well and you are feeling like your wonderful self again (or getting closer). 🩷 Your new hair colour looks absolutely beautiful, darling woman. And, you've inspired me...
I'm soooo hanging for a change but holding off for a few reasons: one being that I don't want to make any kind of stress-related change to my hair - again. The last time I did, I lopped 3 inches off my length and cut in curtain bangs which did NOT suit me, and I have only just grown out a year later! 😅
Yes please, I would absolutely love if you could share your meal prep process with us. I want to take better care of myself nutritionally, but I seem to have missed the gene that has any kind of inclination towards the kitchen! 🤣 I want to be better at nourishing myself with food and start to enjoy the art of cooking for myself (and my husband, Chris).
PS: I looooooove The Good Place! We have watched it twice so far, and it's one of a handful of series I know I will rewatch at least once a year. So many powerful messages in it, so well-written, so funny, and so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. I've put many friends onto it!
PPS: If you want another show of that calibre, I would highly recommend Ted Lasso. It is my ultimate comfort show because its core themes are joy and kindness, and it lifts my spirits during particularly tough times. x
Thanks for the love, Sonia! The operation did not have the outcome I had hoped for unfortunately, but I have mostly recovered well despite that. Will write more about that soon, but my gosh... the female body - what a ride, hey.
I HEAR YOU on hesitating re: a big hair change. I get my hair *trimmed* once a year honestly, I love my long hair and can't stand it even being mid-length and hairdressers in general do not understand or approve of this at all in my experience. I was bolstered by the fact that this is a semi-permanent colour and will ultimately wash out in a few months. Might make it permanent though.
Thanks for the feedback re: meal prep, it's so unsexy as a topic but damn does it make a difference to the week/life. And the Good Place!! My god!!! I can totally imagine a rewatch. In fact my meditation teacher told us he watched it, finished it, then immediately went back and started it again from the beginning. I am also a huge Ted Lasso fan and hanging out for S4. There's so much good TV happening right now, and like you say, genuinely spirit-lifting stuff. x
Love the hair! I’m a current lunch skipper purely through lack of inspiration and the fact it HAPPENS EVERY DAY so any insight there would be appreciated!!
EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES. It's relentless. I hear you. I can share insights though I fear it'll be such a boring thing to write about, but I'm up for the challenge.
Thanks Dee! Ooooh what draws you to black? I hear you on the regrowth - I expect my dark blonde/light brown regrowth will be a bit off as well, but it's a semi-permanent which should make the growing out process a bit smoother.
Unfortunately my surgery outcome was not as I had hoped, but I'm okay and will write more about this soon. Thanks for the care, thermo recipes coming up soon! x
Thanks Kass! It's been a few weeks now and I'm loving more each day. Besides a few "experiments" in my teens with red and black hair, and some pink streaks here and there, I've been blonde my whole life. It's incredibly liberating to choose something else!

This color is SO good! P.S. have you ever read or heard of the book “Pussy: A Reclamation” By Regena Thomashauer?
Thanks Lily! And yess indeed I have read Pussy, some time ago. What made you think of that? :)
It’s just an incredible book so far and you’re one of the reasons I began down this journey of leaning into feminine power. ❤️

Love that colour on you, it suits 😍 I've contemplated going black which would be quite different but with brown hair the regrowth wouldn't look great.
I'm looking forward to catching up on the replay, I'm about to start my bleed any day now so that will work nicely.
I'm a fan of Kristen Bell and enjoyed watching Veronica Mars and most recently Nobody wants this, S2 coming out in Oct.
I'm keen for any Thermo meal or baking inspiration 😁
Hope everything went well with your surgery xx

Your hair looks stunning!
And I would love to read more about your meal prep process. =)
Thank you!! And FAB - noted. 😊
That colour looks gorgeous on you Claire!

It suits you x
The hair is STUNNING 😍
