Queen of Cups: Cycle Journaling Circle (replay)
The Queen of Intuition. This class also includes some dreamwork.
Hello!
Yesterday, we continued our archetypal exploration of the Queens of the Tarot, diving deep into the intuitive and restorative waters of the Queen of Cups. You’ll find the replay at the bottom of this email.
Where the Queen of Wands ignites our creativity and the Queen of Pentacles roots us in stability, the intuitive Queen of Cups takes us deep into our subconscious and the feeling body.
Whether we’re navigating grief, seeking emotional release, or craving quiet introspection, she holds space for it all. I love this description of the Queen of Cups in the This Might Hurt tarot:
The Queen of Cups is very much like the High Priestess, except for the defining difference that the Queen of Cups is interested in other people. She believes that life is to be enjoyed and that joy comes from relationships and experiences.
She’s the friend you can sit with for hours over cups of tea, musing about the world, going deep on all of the topics that matter most.
She’s the witchy part of us who *just knows* what’s going to happen next.
She’s the archetype that reminds us to trust ourselves and to value time spent connecting with our inner world through practices like journaling, meditation and dream work.
Whether you’re marking the winter or summer solstice this weekend, I trust this journaling and workshop session offers you a space to pause, exhale, and check in with yourself.
Dreamwork practice
After some journaling and discussion, you’ll also be led through a gentle practice to explore a recent dream you’ve had. We talk a little about how and why dream intensity, REM sleep, and dream recall can fluctuate across the menstrual cycle. This is something I’m very curious about, and learning more all the time, so I’d love to hear what kinds of patterns you’ve noticed in your dreaming life across each hormonal phase, or what questions you’ve got for me.
Enjoy!
