For your weekend listening
And final reminder on B-School
Friends,
I’m taking most of March off work to host my in-laws who are visiting from the U.K., and you know me - I work in seasons! Creative months, fallow months, repeat.
We’re going on an Australian road trip through bush, beach and mountains, and I’m also taking a partial tech fast for Lent, so I’m genuinely ready for a good stretch offline.
Your reflections on my newsletter a couple of weeks ago gave me a great deal of comfort in knowing that I’m not at all alone in s desire for more time in the home and with family.
As one reader commented,
“The tension between wanting domestic life valued and feeling like it betrays feminist ideals is real.”
I look forward to continuing this conversation with you.
Sooo it’s probably no surprise that in the lead up to some time off work, I’ve published a total of four podcast episodes in the last couple of weeks.
Very me.
🎧 For your weekend listening:
All the Way to the River (book review) & guru collapse (paywall)
You’re a great practitioner. Now learn to run a business (free)
Outlander season 3 & 4 recaps (free)
I enjoy making podcasts and I think you’ll love these!
In other news, this is your final call for B-School in 2026.
The whole reason I can take a month offline without my business grinding to a halt is because I learned how to actually run one.
I received this email earlier in the week:
I’m thinking about joining B-School but if I’m honest I worry it’s a bit Americanised and over-marketed. It feels very polished, almost too good to be true. I trust you, but I’d love to hear your real experience. What actually changed in your business?
I had the exact same thought the first time I looked at this training. If you prefer depth over hype, I’m with you and I understand that hesitation.
Especially if you’re in Australia or the U.K., Big Marketing Energy can feel a bit much, but this training brings both the jazz hands and the legit. It is incredibly detailed, structured and implementable.
For me, it took me from being simply a coach and creative to also being a CEO. It taught me how to *actually* run a business.
You don’t have to change your personality to benefit from it. Honestly, I am more myself in my work through what I’ve learned. You just need to implement.
Doors close tomorrow.
Big love,

Hope you enjoy beautiful quality time with your in-laws and have the most wonderful time on your road trip! 🩷 (Let me know if you make it up my way - I'd love to meet you for a cuppa!)
